The Youth Theatre is going into its 29th year and is all about having fun, building confidence, making new friends and learning about performance. Along the way, they learn about improvisation, movement, voice technique and much more.

“A fantastic adventure to be part of for 11 years of my life. Along the way I have made life long friends, gained skills and confidence and formed great memories that will stay with me forever.” – Junior and Senior Youth Theatre Participant / 2014

Southbridge Resource Centre, Infirmary Street EH1 1LT

September 24th – December 10th (no classes on October 15th and 22nd)

The Saturday classes have been running since 2007 for 3 – 12 year olds. The classes focus on different themes and skills each term and build towards a short performance which is shared with parents and friends on the last day of the term The emphasis is on having fun, building confidence and learning new skills

“Lovely to see children being encouraged to think their own thoughts and build their self confidence as well as enjoy being a part of the group.” – Parent Feedback / 2018

The next Youth Theatre term costs £60.50 (££5.50 x 11 week term). There is also a £15 annual membership fee.

The Saturday Drama Class fee is £55.00 (£5.50 x 10 week term)

A 10% sibling discount applies across all of the Live Drama groups. We also have an Assisted Places scheme for those who are prevented from taking part because of the cost.
