Paintings, drawings and silver enamelled jewellery around the theme of microscopic water creatures. A strange fascination with owls and some collaborative work with a woodworker.

For the first time, we are delighted also this year to open our doors to the Scottish International Storytelling Festival for a fantastic travel from studio to studio with our in-house storyteller Jan Bee Brown from the Thrive Archive (tickets and info here).

Free workshops, demonstrations, a pop-up café and one-off events will take place across the building’s eight storeys. Visitors will also be able to enjoy three exhibitions in our galleries from Medley 5, Jacqui Higgs and Mary Walters, and Megan Burt.

Sunday late afternoons in St Margaret’s House Room G8 we’ll hold a space for anyone looking for a calm place to write.

We’ll start with a cuppa and a chat, have a gentle stretch and a few minutes of mindfulness/meditation to get in the zone and engage the senses.
