Paintings, drawings and silver enamelled jewellery around the theme of microscopic water creatures. A strange fascination with owls and some collaborative work with a woodworker.
Megan Burt has been painting and drawing imagery of microscopic creatures for some time and is finding it interesting to move the theme over to a different medium. Working in 3 dimensional forms with silver enables her to create more texture and definition.
She says: “for some reason I have been attracted to owls. I find them very beautiful, to look at and to hear.vThere is a selection of work in collaboration with a woodworker. We have made small boxes made from wood and silver. The silverware is detachable and can be worn as jewellery.”
