The Bridge Pottery Collective (BPC) was established in 2011 as a home for pottery equipment, including a lustre kiln that was bequeathed by Margery Clinton [1932-2004] to her friend, and founding member of the collective, Alison Robinson. In 2011, they opened the BPC at St Margaret’s House, an arts facility in central Edinburgh.
Culture Gate from Shanghai are warmly inviting all residents and friends of St Margaret’s House to join them for drinks and nibbles at the opening of their Shanghai Exhibition, displaying works by students from the Culture Gate Art Centre based there.
Evian Lu, a longtime friend and contact of the building, will be setting up the show in the following days – it opens on Monday 18th of August in the lobby of the Ground Floor (G.25), from 12-4pm.
