2022 Christmas Makers’ Market

Saturday and Sunday (3rd and 4th December) 12 – 4pm, 3rd floor galleries. 
 
Beautiful handcrafted gifts and original art by local makers and artists. A wide selection of pottery, glass, jewellery, textiles, leather, wood, cards, prints, paintings and much more for sale.
 
You can also try your hand at enamelling with Leith Lapidary Club and create your own gifts.

Community Carol Concert at the Granton Gas Holder

Christmas Carol Concert led by Edinburgh College taking place at Forthquarter Park by the Granton Gasholder Thursday 9th December at 6pm.

It is a free outdoor event, with some complimentary mulled wine and mince pies on offer provided by North Edinburgh Arts café. The music will be led by the Edinburgh College music department, including the Edinburgh College Chamber Choir, String Ensemble and Clarinet Quartet. There will be carol sheets for singing along!

Important reminder | Christmas opening hours

Please note that St Margaret’s House is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the 27th. It opens again with reduced hours 28th, 29th and 30th (though the office will remain closed).

It closes New Year’s Eve, Hogmanay, 2nd and 3rd. It reopens with normal hours and an open office on the 4th.
