Workshops- Chasing Rainbows

Additionally during the summer Bridge Pottery will hope to run 1 or 2 Lustre Pottery Weekends with practical sessions on preparing clay pastes, lustre glazes and firing the work. The workshops will also include some tutorials on mosaics and re-using glaze tests tiles.

There will be a small natural Gas kiln, a Raku kilnand  Margery’s lustre kiln,  which combines electricity to heat it & nitrogen to purge the air, so that a gas flame can be safely used to create lustre. Workshops will be funded by a small charge to cover costs.
