Yin Yoga is a slow paced yoga style which targets fascia (deep layer of connective tissue) surrounding muscles. These tissues are often tight due to posture and stress, so working on them can have a dramatic effect on your well-being.
The class is made of asanas which move your spine in all directions. Each of these asanas is held between three and five minutes, giving your fascia enough time to release. Props are used to let you relax into the pose.
Loose clothes, sweater/long sleeved top and socks may be useful in case you get cold during the practice. Mats, bolsters, block and blankets will be provided.
