EveryBody is Art – Exhibition
🍀Body. Naked. Varied in shape and colour. Beautiful as it is, as nature created it.
🍀A body that changes, goes through cycles. Time marks it, sometimes with a scar from pregnancy or an accident, sometimes with a wrinkle. But it is still art.
🍀The Body as a miracle of nature. This is the core of the EveryBody is Art project.
💫The exhibition is the culmination of a 4-month project and artist residency at SM House, Edinburgh Palette.
💫The three artists present their point of view through painting art, mixed media, photography and short text forms. Each in their own way encourages through their work the acceptance of the body as it is, promoting the importance of self-acceptance as an important part of well-being.
💫Marcin Krupa, a multidisciplinary artist, shows in his works that there is no single canon of beauty. As a representative of the philosophy of body positivity, he shows that it is the diversity of forms, shapes that is natural and beautiful.
💫Monika Lilia Dolicher, shows through photography the body as part of nature which is itself a miracle. In her works, she mainly shows women and their relationship with nature. She also shows Mother Nature as a person and addresses the theme of respecting the limits of her body.
💫Dorota Modlinger, her series of drawings and paintings shows journey of self healing by an appreciation of the female body. It’s Nature, harmony and cyclical.
