Preview: Friday 8 June, 6pm – 8pm
Play is a source of learning, a path to creativity and a key to connectivity. Play
uncovers basic truths and reveals new possibilities. Exploring interpretations of
PLAY through a variety of artistic and creative media, this innovative show will
challenge pre-conceptions in an exciting and inspirational way.
Play and playfulness are evident in our artistic and cultural legacy from the
earliest times: from the cave paintings of prehistory to 20 th Century Dada,
Surrealism and everything in between. Playful creativity is both process and
performance, enriching life with an essential element of self-determined
pleasure and personal discovery.
The playful art displayed throughout this exhibition invites us to re-experience
the flights of imagination we remember from childhood and to think anew
about the place of play and playfulness in our adult lives.

People Know How’s latest project supports people to realise their full potential.
Re:Connect is a service that provides free access to laptops along with volunteers to help people navigate online services.
At our Digital Drop-ins, we build up people’s confidence and ask them what they want to get from computers and the internet. We want people to know that if they want to do someone online but don’t know where to start, they can come to a drop in session to get some helpful advice. Whether they want to create a CV, find a cheaper utility provider, create an email account or look at entertainment we are there to help you do that.
Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds with a variety of skills and experience, and we believe that people know how to find the answers to their questions
over a friendly conversation.
There are two drop-ins located at our office at 5.03 St. Margaret’s House.
Thursdays from 11am – 2pm
Saturdays from 11am – 1pm (1 st , 3 rd , 5 th Saturday of the month)
4pm – 6pm (2 nd & 4 th Saturday in the month) – in association with Feniks Counselling
Additionally we have drop-ins throughout the city at these locations
Monday – Streetwork 9:30 – 11:30am
Tuesday – Dr. Bells 11 – 2pm
Wednesday – Ripple Project 11 – 2pm

Ashtanga is a dynamic, very energising yoga style.
A great way to start the new year!
This class is an introduction to the Ashtanga yoga method, we will finish the class with relaxation in Savasana (corpse pose)
Please notice that this class is still tough, the difference between this class and a regular full led Ashtanga class is that the pace is slower, as I take the time to explain the postures in more detail.
Mats available on request or bring your own
8:00 pm - 9:15 pm
This class is suitable for Beginners and those wishing to study the basic asanas (poses).
Iyengar yoga is suitable for everyone but is especially well suited to those who are stiff and to athletes. Regular practice will build flexibility and strength, while preserving the health of your joints. Over the term, you will be introduced to a full range of asanas, including standing and seated poses, twists, forward bends, balancings and inversions. You learn the actions required for the more challenging poses in the simpler ones and progress at your own pace, with full instruction and assistance and the use of props (bricks, chairs, blankets etc.) as required.
This class has a male teacher and is particularly popular with male students, although all are welcome!
