Art Wednesdays at the Anatomical Museum

Anatomy@Edinburgh and the Anatomical Museum, University of Edinburgh, have launched Art Wednesdays. An afternoon of non-tutored drawing from the unique and historic collections of the Anatomical Museum, out with our public opening times. All abilities welcome!

Website – https://www.ed.ac.uk/biomedical-sciences/anatomy/public-engagement/art-wednesdays

These sessions are £8 per session, with the inclusion of refreshments and a very unique opportunity to see and draw from our reserve collections, usually not on display, with the objects changing each session (a very rare opportunity!). Dates are Wednesday 5th February, 4th March and 8th April 2020. All money goes straight to the Anatomical Museum to aid in its curation.

Simply Singing

Simply Singing is a very friendly group which meets together to sing for pleasure. We sing songs from all over the world in two, three and sometimes four part harmony. There is no need to read music and in fact, there is no need even to be a brilliant singer. The songs are taught line by line by Rachel who is a trained singing teacher.

Our new term starts on 15th January and runs until 1st April. We meet on Wednesday evenings in room G.25, St Margaret’s House at 7pm till 9pm.

The cost is £40 per term or £5 per evening.

New members are very welcome. Just come along or contact Rachel 07792 791437
