Willow basketry course teaching how to make a beautiful Irish Skib, a traditional basket that was used for straining potatoes.
Skills taught will include: pairing, staking up, upsetting, waling, German waling, and 5- or 6- rod border.
This course is suitable for beginners and improvers.
Please book 10 days in advance to allow me time to sort and soak the right amount of material.
Tea, herbal tea, and coffee provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.
