‘‘FLUXUS’ is a collaboration between Edinburgh-based artists Lynn Ahrens and Constantine.. The Artist.’ FLUXUS’ calls upon the viewer to enter a space where reality is transformed into strange and obscure shapes. The figure is the prominent theme across the artists’ works, often distorted, warped, smudged and coloured into uncomfortable and contorted shapes and forms. The figure is used in a colourful manner in Constantine..’s work, juxtaposed with the darker, eerie nature of Ahrens’.This contrast invites the viewer to consider both sides of the self: our vibrant and ostentatious against our hidden, ugly and unstable aspects. It is important to embrace both the light and dark within ourselves. This exhibition encourages us to uncover and appreciate the fluidity and flow between the light and dark; that the lines can often be blurred
