Adventure Drama: 6 Week Drama and Performance Programme

Do you like the sound of playing games, learning drama skills, having fun and trying meditation and mindfulness. Why not book on to our 6 week Drama and Performance Workshop?

The Adventure Drama 6-week programme covers:
-Confidence Building
-Improv
-Mime
-Drama Games
-Storytelling
-Performance
-Role Play
-Meditation and Mindfulness.

Each of our one hour drama workshops incorporates an exciting warm up, drama technique session and performance practise. Each session ends with a calming cool down which teaches children mindfulness and meditation. There will be a performance showcase at the end of the six weeks.

In March 2019, FEELS Exhibition has made emotions come alive, over two days in Teviot Dining Room, the University of Edinburgh. Over 250 audiences experienced the magic. (See Video)

This May! FEELS Exhibition is BACK as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2019! The exhibition will be upgraded in the bright and airy gallery space at Edinburgh Palette, Gallery 2.

We have invited 40 artists to share with you their encounters with emotions. Through the artworks collected, you will see the abstract and invisible emotions come alive, which you can see, hear, touch, feel and interact with them. There will also be interactive exhibits, photography, illustration, written word, music and video.

We are also bringing you more engaging and thought-provoking workshops and talks! Topics range from Film and Consciousness, Art-based Experiential Workshop, Experiential Creative Painting, Mono-printing to Creative Mindfulness!

Stained Glass Skill classes. Advanced and intermediate

This workshop is available for those who have done a course and want to develop there own project under expert supervision.

You can book packs of 5 sessions (five Tuesdays). It doesn’t need to be correlative but you have to use in maximum 5 months from the first session.
There is also a limit to the size of panel which can be undertaken due to storage space.

PILATES 4 ALL by Clare Shillinglaw

I run fun and friendly Pilates classes held in the Drawing Room, 3rd Floor on Tuesday evenings 5-6pm.

Pilates is amazing for improving posture, balance, flexibility and easing any muscle and joint niggles. Regular practice can help you build long and lean muscle, strengthen the core from within and relax the mind. It is suitable for a wide range of people, from beginners to professional sportspeople, and including pregnant women and seniors so please come along!
