Professional Development Award (PDA) Textiles @ Printbase
This PDA course is studied over 30 weeks and consists of three SQA Higher National Units: Surface Decoration for Textiles: An Introduction, Textile Techniques: An Introduction and Textile Accessory: An Introduction. The course is suitable for those with previous experience or qualifications in art and design related disciplines wishing to attain a formal qualification and further their knowledge of textile techniques and processes.
3 x 10 week terms (one unit delivered per term)

Introduction to Textile Screen Printing @Printbase
This 5 week, 10 hour, short course is the perfect introduction to textile screen printing. You will be introduced to stencils, positive and negative images, exposed screens, printing techniques and layering of imagery. The final collection of samples and technical notes is the basis for further study and practice.

Foundation course in Textile Screen Printing@ Printbase
This 10 week, 20 hour, short course is the next step in developing or refreshing your textile screen printing practice. You will coat and expose screens using the Natgraph exposure unit, explore colour through mixing pigments and refine your studio printing techniques and layering of imagery. The course gives you the opportunity to develop your own practice and explore the potential of the craft with final finished works, collection of samples and technical notes.
