Moving Forward: community without walls

During the Open Doors on the 21st of April, the Thrive Archive curator Jan Bee Brown and ecoscenographer Mona Kastell will be creatively exploring what community means.

Please join them in the third floor library to instigate positive action, celebrate collaborative practice, and share ideas during a time of change to co-create new narratives.
Open to residents and visitors, the outcomes will stay exhibited for the residents to add their voices.’

Farewell Cécile

Our beloved Arts and Communities Assistant is on to pastures new and has a message to the community:

“After two lively years enjoying and juggling between two part time jobs, I need some focus. As some of you know, I’m going to recenter my time and energy on the Edinburgh Tool Library (like a library, but with tools!).

You’ll soon meet Marilyn Carino who is going to take over my current responsibilities in the Arts & Community Team. My elegant French touch will be replaced by some Brooklyn badass vibes!

I’ll be with you till the end of April (I love organising the Open Doors!).

I’m not going far away and I would always be happy to hear from you, so do keep in touch – cecile@edinburghtoollibrary.org.uk.

See you around!

Cécile”
