ARTIST STATEMENT
WARNING SIGNS is a new body of work by Edinburgh based multi-disciplined artist and designer, Alan Lennon, and is quite a departure from his recognisable figurative work. This passionate project is an artist’s attempt to say something of importance and create a thought-provoking snapshot of our turbulent times with a combination of ‘cautionary verse’ (poems) and strong iconic paintings. The show is free and open to the public from Saturday 14th until Friday 20th October daily from 12 – 5pm in Gallery 1 of St. Margaret’s House/ Edinburgh Palette, 151 London Road, Edinburgh, EH7 6AE. The exhibition launch is on Friday 13th September from 6pm until 8.30pm. Refreshments provided.
