I have worked as a painter in Edinburgh Palette for several years now and participated in many group shows, notably “Grown Together” 2017and “Naked Aye” 2014 ,and have had several solo shows.
As a result of exhibiting in the “National Portrait Award” Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London in 2007 I exhibited in two “Portrait Gala” events at the NPG, London in 2009 and 2013.
However my work is concerned with a contemporary imaginative response to the human figure rather than portraiture, and more recently, in 2021, I exhibited in “Figurative Art Now” in the Mall Galleries, London.
I am also a previous winner of the Premier Award for Painting, at Aberdeen Artists Open Exhibition.
