Community Project Worker – Yo Yo! Café and Cooking Workshops

ROLE: To work as part of a team providing high a quality support and program for our students to assist them in developing practical, social and life skills in order to participate more fully and more independently in society – reflecting the strategic objectives of Upward Mobility.
MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES:
To assist and support providing guidance and instruction to students and facilitation of our training Café and cooking workshops.
SALARY:
Starting at £8.25 per hour, dependent on experience
HOURS: Variable – Full time

Community Project Worker

ROLE: To work as part of a team providing high a quality support and program for our students to assist them in developing practical, social and life skills in order to participate more fully and more independently in society – reflecting the strategic objectives of Upward Mobility.
MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES:
To assist and support providing guidance and instruction to students for activities, specific to each individual student as indicated per review / team meetings, SSP and ILP.

HOURS: Working hours will vary depending on the student’s needs and availability of the Community Project Worker. This can involve either live-in support or shift-work within the Arts and Healthy Living Project.  You may be required to work either in Edinburgh, North Berwick or other locations out in the community. Terms and conditions of employment are as per your employment contract.  Community Project Workers are expected to arrive on time for all shifts.
