Paper

“Paper” is an exhibition by the Scottish women’s art collective, the Abstractionistas, featuring works by artists Megan Chapman, Judith Shaylor, and
Susan E. Wilson. The Pop-Up show is open to the public from 11-4 pm on the
12th, 13th and 14th of August at the Granton Hub, Madelvic House, Granton Park
Avenue, Edinburgh, EH5 1HS. The artists will have a public reception on Saturday the 13th from 2-4 pm.

Chapman, Shaylor, and Wilson bring a depth of experience in the arts and a firm
dedication to the abstract. Since forming in 2019, the collective has had dynamic
exhibitions at the Edinburgh Palette, Bannockburn House, Detour Espresso at
Marchmont, and the Dalkeith Palace. The group is delighted to bring their abstract
visions on paper to the Granton Hub during the Edinburgh festival.

Volunteers Wanted for Free Yoga Classes!

To support body symphonies teacher training sessions.

Thank you to all who came the last time, it was fab and we really enjoyed the whole weekend.

I am posting the link again in case you wish to sign up for the next two occasions. One is June 18th-19th, the other is July 2nd and 3rd.

Format:  June week-end :The trainees will be teaching one class each, all different classes. I am hiding in a corner not to interfere. We have teas, cake and savoury bits for after to thank you .

July week-end: I will be going around adjusting people, to remind them of what we discussed over the 15th month one last time before they set off. Not ideal if you prefer to avoid touch.

If you have any medical condition that requires special attention, I would ask you to please not join the weekends as they are simply for me to assess general level classes. The rest goes under special workshops and trainings one can choose to do to deepen afterwards. Feel free to e-mail me if in doubt.

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you at Yoga, Collective at studio 6.02.

There are a lot of people online doing this challenge and I felt I wanted to take part. I have been questioning myself over and over of what sits right since my life is full of change at present.

I would like to offer sessions in person on Mondays and Fridays at Studio 6.02, 12:00 -12:30, any donation to go to the link below. The sessions will be 30 minutes long. Ideal to take a pause, breathe, switch off and go back to create after and still be able to have lunch!

Lunch-time Pop-Up Event (External)

Would you be interested in doing a lunchtime pop-up event in a corporate building?
We’ve got a big lobby space where you could advertise your brand with some promotional materials like flyers etc. or even sell your product on the spot. All that with no cost.

We are based at Atria One, 144 Morrison Street Edinburgh.
Atria One is occupied by 17 large companies. On average we have around 200-400 employees coming in to work from the office each day.

Pop-ups take place in our lobby area.

It is entirely up to yourself how you want to use the space. You can have a banner, promotional materials, product you want to sell etc. From our side, we can provide a table or a few. However, if there is anything in particular you need, just let me know and we can see what are the options for organising it.

In the past, we had businesses like Hot Yoga, Massage and Glow, Candle and co, Wee bee company, Le Petit Cafe, Pure Gym and more.

In November we are planning to host pop-ups on the 17th and in December on the 8th. Let me know if that is suitable.

Ps. Just to remember… to be in the building you will need to have a valid licence or insurance so you are safe 🙂.
