Untold Postcard Art Exhibition and Auction 2020

Rock Trust are warmly inviting artists to donate (A6) postcard-sized artworks to Rock Trust;s eighth biennial Postcard Art Exhibition and Auction!

100% of the proceeds of this exhibition and auction will go directly to support Rock Trust;s work helping young people to avoid and move on from homelessness in Scotland.

Alongside professional artists, this year we will also be asking young people (16-25) from the local community to submit entries to the exhibition, with the top 50 entries by young people (as decided by our professional judge) being selected for the exhibition and auction!

Previous exhibitions have included works by Norman Ackroyd, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Alison Watt and Stephen Mangan, among others. These events draw significant attention on social media (10,000 people reached via Facebook posts, 60,000 people reached via Twitter) and in the press, with coverage in both The Times and The Scotsman.

If you would like to support this event, then please kindly email andrew.marks@rocktrust.org  for more information and to receive your artist’s pack.

From all of us at Rock Trust, thank you for your support!

Handmade in Britain Survey

Everyday seems to throw a new challenge for our community and Covid19 has impacted the craft sector severely, resulting in disruption, through cancellation or postponement of events, putting craftspeople and organisers at a financial disadvantage with many of them losing livelihoods.

Over the past 13 years Handmade in Britain has provided a platform to support and promote design and craft talent through fairs, events and pop-ups, workshops and business mentoring. To adapt to the new normal we are working towards improving and changing the look and feel of our in-person events and online platforms.

To help promote British Craftsmanship we need your input now more than ever before to make our services better. Please complete the short questionnaire which will only take 2 minutes of your time.
