Edinburgh’s first ‘Go! Event’ was organized to celebrate Scotland’s first Dame Kelly Holmes Trust ‘Get on Track’ in Partnership with Edinburgh Judo, offering a chance for the young people involved to celebrate their achievements.
Lead athlete for the programme, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Gold medallist, Sarah Clark was there with the other programme lead, Theo Spalding. Also in attendance, athletes Sarah Adlington (Commonwealth Champion) and Patrick Dawson plus other athletes that have been part of the programme including Commonwealth, Grand Slam, Grand Prix, World Cup & European Cup medalists.
Boxing Commonwealth Gold medalist Charlie ‘the Mailman’ Flynn and ex-Scotland rugby player Chris Paterson were also there!
