Link Up Women’s Support Centre is hosting an Art Space for Women Workshop with Selma Augestad (ALP) this Thursday 23 March, 1-3pm
The Adult Learning Project are setting up a new Art Space for Women project which will look at exploring and reflecting on women and art – as well as taking action by making art! The taster session at Link-Up Womens’ Support Centre will look at women’s representation in traditional and feminist art, and we will use collage making to make our own art.

ART SPACE FOR WOMEN is a learning space for exploration, reflection and action
- EXPLORE how women are represented in art, through speaker presentations and exhibition visits.
- REFLECT on our own experiences as women, through creative exercises and facilitated discussions.
- ACTION! through creating our own art, supported to learn and try out a variety of new creative skills and art methods
No experience or previous knowledge required – just an interest in exploring, reflecting and taking action through the creation of art.
