Untold stories of migration, integration and settlement from diverse communities in Leith, Edinburgh are explored in an insightful heritage exhibition told through Textiles.

Textile Migration tells the way in which migration can, and has, changed and shaped the identity of Scotlands contemporary textile industry; an identity that is still evolving today. This exhibition  will seek to record the stories of Leiths inhabitants, as well as wider Scotland, and explore how their lives and experiences have been shaped by migration.

Combining oral history records, textile art and photography the exhibition aims to pose the question how has Scotland been influenced by an expanding diversity of cultural and textile traditions.
