Creative Place Awards 2015

Launched in 2012, the Creative Place Awards recognise communities where people work together to celebrate and promote their town, village or area through the arts and culture – enabling them to build on their strengths and to try new things. We encourage applications from cultural organisations, community groups and local authorities to represent their village, town or community and to bid for an award. You can apply for an award of either: £50k, £100k, or £125k. The level you apply for will depend on which category most suits your size of population, current levels of activity, the scale of your planned activities and your capacity to deliver.

Stage 1 deadline: 5pm on Monday 2 February 2015.

All applicants will be notified if they’ve been shortlisted by 13 March 2015.

Stage 2 deadline (for shortlisted applicants only): 5pm on Friday 1 May 2015.

The deadline for applications is: 5pm on Monday 19 January 2015.

Creative Internships

The Arts and Creative Industries Graduate Internship Programme (also known as ‘Creative Internships’) provides paid internships to young unemployed graduates who have studied a subject related to the Arts and Creative Industries. Interns will gain project-based work experience in a creative environment that will give graduates a chance to add to their portfolio, receive mentoring and support from creative professionals and get a ‘foot-in-the-door’ of their chosen career. Each placement will be 35 hours a week of work for 13 weeks and are available to young people aged 18-30.
