What is the Upcycled Jewellery Class?
The upcycled jewellery making and repair class is a fun, relaxing and creative event where you will upcycle broken and discarded jewellery and transform them into exciting new wearable pieces.
What will you do in this class?
You’ll learn basic jewellery techniques to enable you to take old jewellery apart and how to use jump rings, clasps, findings, decorative wire, beading, eye pins, head pins and get to grips with small hand tools like cutters, round nose pliers and chain nose pliers.
We’ll show you how to make bracelets, necklaces, earrings and how to revamp, restyle and repair.
Why take the Upcycled Jewellery Class?
By the end of the class, you will be the proud owner of some new sustainable one of a kind jewellery, just the thing for the eco-conscious fashionista!
Refreshments, materials and equipment will be provided during the workshop. You’re welcome to bring broken fashion jewellery with you, if you’d like some guidance with mending or you may wish to incorporate them into your designs.
We are happy to receive donations of any unwanted jewellery.
Join our upcycled jewellery making class, meet like minded people and develop your skills as an upcycler for a more sustainable lifestyle.
