Workshops Performing Arts Think you can’t sing, but wish you could?

Wednesday 14 November 2018 1:00pm - 3:00pm
St Margaret's House

There are still a few places on this course at Link Up Womens Support Centre for any woman in North East Edinburgh who would like support with their emotional health.

If you do not want to sing, you will not be forced to do so. We can do other things like listen to music, have pop quizzes and so on.  The group will decide what it does each week.

Are you one of the many women who have always believed you can’t sing, but wish you could?

This workshop offers a fun way to explore your voice in a friendly, safe space, without fear of criticism.

Have you ever been told you can’t sing? Not good enough for the school choir? Or asked to mime?

Unfortunately, this is the reality for a huge percentage of adults which has resulted in people believing their whole life that they can’t sing or have been too frightened to sing.

This workshop will be a fun way for women who would like to sing to get an opportunity to do this without fear of criticism. Sylvia has lots of experience in making this fun and non threatening. She’s lovely, come and join us and we’ll see what we can do on other Wednesdays too.

No previous singing experience needed.  Open to all women in North East Edinburgh who want to look after their mental health. Beginning Wednesday the 7th of November.

If you’d like to give it a try, can you get your name down by emailing: joan@link-upsupport.co.uk or putting your name in the Green folder if you already attend Link Up.
