On this course you will develop your own stained glass project.
You should have some previous experience with glass.
What does the course cover
In your first session We’ll find sources to design your own and personal piece of glass work.
We’ll choose and modify your design, enlarge it to create your full-size pattern and make the creative decisions to select your glass.
In successive sessions you will receive instruction to improve your glass cutting and soldering skills, learn reinforcement techniques, and plan for framing or installation of the completed project.
You can book packs of 5 sessions (five Tuesdays). You don’t need to use them on consecutive Tuesdays but you have to use them within a maximum of 5 months from the first session.
There is also a limit to the size of panel which can be undertaken due to storage space.
What do you need to bring?
All tools are provided but it’s advisable to bring your own oil cutter.
You will have to bring your own consumables (glass, lead and solder)
Wait for advice before purchasing the materials. If you need it can be ordered online and delivered to the studio.
