Chiara Pusceddu is an Italian artist located in Edinburgh. She qualified at the Institute of Art “Carlo Contini” in Sardinia as a Maestro of Ceramics, and continued her studies in Psychology with Sociology at Edinburgh Napier University. From an early age, Chiara escaped social interactions with her peers to find a sense of belonging in the life of Rinasciment’s artists, developing interests in portraits as admitting Botticelli and Rafaello’s masterpieces. With time, Chiara’s creations were influenced by Expressionism and contemporary arts.

Throughout her experiences in the UK, Chiara has adopted art, as a tool for healing past traumas and explore the inner self. With time, art expression became a visual journal of the spiritual path characterised by sparks of enlightenment.

The exhibition at the Edinburgh Palette is entitled “self- unfolder” as it represents a personal healing journey throughout the inner self. The artworks presented include mainly acrylic canvass and lino prints. Those focus on self- portraits that symbolised the inner parts that the artist unfolded in different stages of self- discovery.

Located in G.16 Pop-Up Exhibition Space.
