Celebrating the 150th anniversary of Mackintosh’s birth.
On this day workshop we will make our own tribute to the figure of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
We’ll study a bit his work on glass and we’ll make a small sun catcher with the copper foiled technique.

This workshops it suitable for complete beginners or those more experienced. Depend on your level you’ll achieve a more intricate or a more simple sun catcher.

We’ll go through the whole process of copper foiled stained glass making:
-Designing for stained glass
-How to cut glass
-Templates and cartoon
-Selection of glass
-Grinding and applying the copper foil.
-Soldering
-Patina and waxing.

At the end of the workshop you will take home a lovely piece of stained glass inspired by the magnificent Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

All tools, materials and consumables included.
