Saturday 5 September 2020 10:00am - 12:00pm
Suitable for: All levels/Beginners
Price: £21
Location: online/Studio 5.03

8 workshops focussing on 8 shamanic rituals and on each of the 8 limbs of yoga.
No need to attend all of them, you can attend individually.

Each workshop will be opened by Giada, from Invisible Caims, to welcome you to our safe
space, learning what Shamanism is and experiencing the beautiful healing power of Rituals to serve your personal transformation. Rituals and Ceremonies are tools to invoke spiritual presence and blessings through practical actions, but also to feel that your intent is powerful.

Giada’s personal choices of these 8 Rituals comes from the Toltec tradition, which strongly believes we are all artists of our own lives. Our second Ritual will be about you will connect with your inner source of creativity making your Wheel of Life according to the ancient traditions using colors or natural elements.

This is the Circle of no beginning and no end and it is an artwork.
In a Ceremony for Harmony and Balance that we will do together, you will recommit yourself to living in a peaceful inner way, connecting your heart with the world inside and outside yourself.

Then Cori, from KOA, will majestically explore the 8 limbs of yoga, which offer guidelines for a purposeful and meaningful life. In Patanjali’s yoga sutra he describes this as the 8 fold path; ‘Ashtanga’; which in Sanskrit translates ‘to having 8 limbs or components’.

The 2nd limb is the NIYAMAs. The 5 NIYAMAs are often described as an inward practice. They are best described as self discipline practices and observances, in sum healthy, activities or habits for a more balanced life.
The NIYAMAs are:

  • Saucha: cleanliness
  • Santosha: contentment
  • Tapas: zeal for life
  • Swadhyaya: self study
  • Ishwara pranidhana: surrender

The 2nd workshop will explore the NIYAMAs, their meaning, purpose and how to apply them in daily life.

The workshops are suited to all levels and no previous knowledge or experience is required. The groups will be small and welcoming, allowing time for questions and reflection.

There will be an option to join a whats app discussion group for those who wish.

For this workshop the attendance will be online via zoom.

If you are not able to join on a specific date, recordings will also be available.
