From rags to bags – textile recycling at its most glamorous! This workshop is a seasonal spin-off from my extremely popular ‘Rags to Riches’ except you get to make a gorgeous little evening bag from fabric scraps that would normally be thrown away. Perfect for the upcoming Festive season and only run in time for Christmas so grab your place now.

Who is this aimed at?
You need to have basic sewing experience. We will use basic utility stitches of a sewing machine in a creative way to make a one-off individual embroidered bag.

What will I learn?
-how to re-purpose old clothing, household textiles, and scraps of trimmings
-use the utility stitches of a basic sewing machine for decorative effects
– how to use metallic transfer foils to add a bit of bling.
-make a lovely little evening bag in your choice of two styles offered.

This workshop is only offered once every year so early booking essential. Go to: https://www.artisanstitch.co.uk/event/rags-to-bags/
