St Margaret's House
St Margaret’s House invites you to an exhibition of the work of Lubi Lykan, a specialist in the art of couture, with a focus on Harris Tweed & Embroidery. Lubi likes to use the cut of fabric, or bright flares of colour to emphasis the mood and style of each of the unique pieces she creates, using a quality tweeds and fabrics to embellish her designs.
This fantastic exhibition, running from  the 3rd of May until the 18th of May, will feature a wonderful array of her exquisite tailoring and hand-embroidered items, from corsets to waspies, from bow-ties to belts! Lubi’s work has been described as  “Unexpected, quirky & beautiful…in a way you wouldn’t expect it…” and fuses fashion with fairytail, with her inspiration coming from both the folklore of old and the tales and traditions of the modern age.
