A fun workshop for anyone interesting in learning how to crochet!

‘Crochet’ uses a hook and yarn to make items such as clothing, blankets, toys or accessories. In this beginners workshop we will be making a small basket, perfect for storing trinkets!

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners! We will be going through basic hook techniques and the different types of yarns that you may use.

In this relaxed 3 hour workshop you will be introduced to the equipment needed for crochet and learn both a commonly used crochet stitch and how to crochet ‘in the round’. You will also learn how to follow a pattern which uses UK terminology.

Materials Required:

1 Ball of chunky wool
1 Crochet hook – Size 5mm – 6mm
2 or 3 Stitch markers (ensure they have a fastening and you can open them rather than the ones used for knitting which are solid!)
All workshops are held in my dye studio (which is near the shop). After booking you will be emailed with the details on how to access the building. Please note payment is required to book in to this workshop, and is non-refundable.
