A relaxed workshop is which you will learn and try out some handy tips and tricks to finish your knitting like a pro AND fix mistakes!
You will learn how to:
- Pick up a dropped stitches in stocking and garter stitch
- Mattress stitch
- Grafting
- 3-needle bind off
- Picking up stitches for a button band
Materials required:
- Double knitting or Aran weight wool
- Suitable needles for your wool (either circular or straight)
- Crochet hook around the same size as your needles or slightly smaller
- Darning needle
- Scissors
Homework: Please prepare 3 swatches for the workshop (cast on approx 35 stitches) and leave the work on the needle, DO NOT bind off. Please do 1 swatch in garter stitch (knit every row), and 2 should be in stocking stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row).
