The first performance of Miss Julie – by the talented people at Black Dingo Productions – will take place this Sunday, 1 June in St. Margaret’s House.
Caught up in the heady magic of Midsummer Eve, Miss Julie invades the world of her servants. She drags her father’s valet, Jean, into a sexually-charged encounter which is part seduction, part power struggle and part self-destruction.
Jen McGregor’s new adaptation of Strindberg’s classic play focuses on Jean and Julie’s battle for control and the constantly shifting boundaries between their fantasies and reality.
Directed by Amy Gilmartin. Featuring Kirsty Eila McIntyre, David McFarlane and Debbie Cannon.
Tickets are only £5.00.
Reserve your space by email – or via Brown Paper Tickets.
There are performances on Monday 2 and Wednesday 4 June – at 8pm (running time 1 hour approx).
Please note that there is no performance on the 3rd.
