Join Lorna Shields from the award winning ‘It’s in the bag’ and her shy but friendly puppet pal Sam. Bring your teddy and journey into the woods for ‘A Teddy Bears’ Picnic from 11 – 11.45am in G25 (on the Ground Floor). What delights will the teddies have in store for us? This is a family friendly event so bring your wee ones – 0 – 6 years.
Then at high noon in the Library on the Third Floor, soup will be served by the fantastic Real Junk Food Project Edinburgh: simple soup with delicious bread from Breadshare and jam and pickles from Dollop and Scoff from 12pm – 1.30pm. The exhibitions in the Third Floor Galleries will be open all day so don’t miss them either!
All followed by Kiss and Tell with The Thrive Archive.
The day’s events are on a pay what you feel they are worth basis and proceeds will go to Re-Act in aid of Syrian Refugees. There will also be a chance to drop in any unwanted warm winter clothes throughout the week.
