Art Auction with a Difference | Leah Merete Robb

Upward Mobility and Edinburgh Palette are hosting the first Postcard Art Auction. Artists on every floor of the Edinburgh Palette building, including UPMO, are invited to collect a free postcard sized piece of MDF and to cover it in art of their choosing.

Rose Street Project

Private view Friday 23 October Artists respond to the concepts of environmental sustainability in this special group exhibition, which encourages a Scotland-wide artistic response to global climate change. This third Re:See It exhibition at St Margaret's House extends its reach this year, calling on the creative communities engaged with Creative Carbon Scotland Edinburgh and the Green Tease Network in addition to tenants of St Margaret's House.

Open Studios Weekend
The artists, designers and charities based in St Margaret’s House will welcome the public in a special weekend event. Located on Edinburgh’s London Road, it opens its doors to the public on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. Open Studios was started to reveal the breadth of the art, projects and enterprises going on within the brown brick building. Edinburgh Palette has been steadily transforming the space into a vibrant art centre since 2008.

Preview evening | Friday 26 June St Margaret's House is delighted to announce 24, by recent Gray's School graduate Dominic McIvor. Dominic's large-scale works are created by repeating a colour sequence (of 24 small squares, hence the title) hundreds of times over, before peeling the canvas to see what remains.
