Art Residency Participation
Dear precious woman,
after the successful completion of the first Yoniverse and overwhelming positive feedback from participating women and exhibition visitors I like to invite you to become visible and discover your own power in this process.
If you identify as female I would like to invite you to participate in this unique and powerful piece of work in the time between 4th – 24th September 2018. In this time I will provide slots of individual sessions averaging 2,5 hours for a woman to pose their yoni/vulva for being painted in the medium of watercolour.
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Live: An Exhibition of (Un)Natural Selection is a collection of works exploring our society’s severed connections from the natural world. Collating various works from sculpture, projection installation, vertical hydroponics to biomimetic design, Live showcases the life-enhancing potential of reintegrating nature into our everyday spaces.
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
***also on Sunday 25th November ***
Rather like the stacking rings workshop, you will learn how to make at least 3 contrasting silver bangles. You will measure, cut, solder, texture and finish your bangles – each one made from different shapes of silver wire. You will be using hammers , punches (including letters and numbers if you would like to personalise them)or a rolling mill, to shape and pattern your bangles, then given a choice of finishes. There will be extra materials available to purchase on the day should you wish to make more than 3 bangles.
