Relax Kids offers fun activity classes to help children manage anxiety and emotions while building self-esteem and confidence. Relax Kids Classes are starting back at St. Margarets House Meadowbank in February.
The next Relax Kids sessions will be running from Panda Yoga Studios 6.28 St Margaret’s House 151 London Road EH7 6AE starting in April.

• 9-12 year-olds 11.15-12.15 Chill Skills is ideal for kids that are transitioning up to the upper end of primary or onto high school.

This dressmaking course will teach you basic dressmaking techniques so you can make your own clothes. You’ll be able to make unique clothes that fit perfectly. My focus is on learning to sew so I’ll show you techniques that will refine the look of your garment and raise your sewing game. I’ll coach you along the way in the following:
10:00 am - 11:30 am
This Gentle Yoga class is suitable for Beginners and those with injuries or health conditions that mean they need to work at a slower pace. We will take time to adapt the poses to suit individual needs, using supports (chairs, bolsters, blankets etc.) where necessary.
Over the term, we will still cover a variety of asanas that will allow you to understand how to adapt the poses so that you can practice them for yourself. This class usually has a longer relaxation section than the standard classes.
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
These classes are open to all: beginners, dance students, performers, both experienced and not in Dance Improvisation. Utilizing the principles of contact dance improvisation, somatic movement practices and contemporary dance, Monica’s teaching focuses on areas such as; awareness of the body’s organisation and anatomy; connection to the floor, the

This class is suitable for beginners but it moves at a faster pace than the standard Iyengar classes so it is not suitable for those with injuries or medical conditions.
The class will focus on sequences of poses (vinyasa) such as Surya Namaskarasana (Sun Salutations). You will learn about the transitions between poses, linking them together in sequences or repeating poses many times. The class is dynamic and energising and ends with a relaxation, so you will go home uplifted and ready for the rest of your week!
