11:00 am - 5:00 pm
The first iteration of an exploratory collaboration between two visual artists & one dancer-choreographer. This will be an improvised residency where the artists will respond together through tasks, movement and environment.
What challenges and inspirations can arise when you physically can’t be in the same location?
One artist will be located in India working at a dance residency, the other two will be at St Margaret’s House whilst also juggling other jobs & commitments. How might they respond when they are together and apart?
There won’t be a final exhibition output from this residency, but visitors are welcome to pop in and say hi.

Residency with bursary studio artist Anjila Wilson
“We often see an artists work installed but not always the journey before hand, the journey which can either be the bounty or the burden of the artists practice, just as life, art is a never ending discovery”
Gallery 2 will be used as a working space for the artist to
explore various ideas for an up and coming exhibition in July
The gallery will be open to the public to allow a rare

This course is suitable for all levels including complete beginners.
You will learn basic jewellery making techniques on a weekly basis, such as sawing, filing, soldering, roll printing and finishing metals, as well as cabochon stone setting. You will be making a ring, pendant and earrings along the way. There will be one to one guidance enabling you to confidently create your own piece of jewellery.
For those with experience, you will be encouraged to bring in your own ideas and develop your own work with help from the tutor and perhaps learn some new skills.
There is no need to buy anything in advance however you will need to purchase materials for your own project. This will be discussed with you during the class.
