6 Week Dressmaking Class

This dress making class is ideal for someone who has intermediate dressmaking skills, you should be comfortable using a sewing machine and have made simple projects such as cushions or bags.

Paintings, drawings and silver enamelled jewellery around the theme of microscopic water creatures. A strange fascination with owls and some collaborative work with a woodworker.
 
Megan Burt has been painting and drawing imagery of microscopic creatures for some time and is finding it interesting to move the theme over to a different medium. Working in 3 dimensional forms  with silver enables her to create more texture and definition.

Yin Yoga Rest and Reset

The afternoon practice is an indulgent relaxing yin class with an extended savasana. The practice is aimed at relieving tension in the body and providing a space for participants to switch off from the outside world.

All mats and props are provided. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Each month two local creatives lead two arty activities in a relaxed evening workshop . Join us for cocktails, craft and conversation in studio G5, Edinburgh Palette on the last Saturday of the month. This October, celebrate Day of the Dead and make paper cut garlands and Modroc skull candle holders.
