This gentle class is suitable for anyone wanting to practice yoga at a slower pace, especially those with minor injuries or medical conditions. This is an Iyengar yoga class and we will use equipment – bolsters, chairs, blocks, belts, blankets – to help you to find the correct alignment without strain.

Hey creative folks out there! Are you or any of your friends keen on learning how to draw a portrait? Have you ever tried to draw your loved ones but found it was a bit more difficult than you thought it was going to be? Don’t miss the chance to book your place in the Drawing Room (an awesome studio and art community space) at St Margaret House, only a couple of bus stops from the city centre.

This course is suitable for all levels including complete beginners.
You will learn basic jewellery making techniques on a weekly basis, such as sawing, filing, soldering, roll printing and finishing metals, as well as cabochon stone setting. You will be making a ring, pendant and earrings along the way. There will be one to one guidance enabling you to confidently create your own piece of jewellery.
For those with experience, you will be encouraged to bring in your own ideas and develop your own work with help from the tutor and perhaps learn some new skills.
There is no need to buy anything in advance however you will need to purchase materials for your own project. This will be discussed with you during the class.
