‘All in good taste’ takes a look into what makes people identify a place as home.

With a wide variant in style there is an exploration from each artist into where they perceive to be their home – within country, themselves or objects.

Faces Places - Jamie King and Nicky Beckett

This is the second collaboration of resident artists Jamie King and Nicky Beckett. The exhibition titled “Faces Places” is a body of work that was conceived in August 2016 and has the theme of homelessness.

Both artists have approached the subject of homelessness in a sensitive and individual manner. The exhibition will include oil painting, mixed media and photography and is in support of the charity Shelter.

Equality and Rights Network (EaRN) presents Voices of Edinburgh: a collection of photographs and podcasts showcasing the voices of the people of Edinburgh.

What does equality mean to you? This is the question Edinburgh’s Equality and Rights Network (EaRN) has been asking the people of Edinburgh. We have recorded their answers in photographs and podcasts; they are using their own words to express what matters to them.

General Yoga class at Yoga Now studio

General level classes are suitable for all levels of experience of yoga and are welcoming Beginners at the moment. We concentrate on the Level 1 poses in these classes with some options for those with more experience so do some more challenging work. Alternatives are given according to ability.

Friday classes 9:45 – 11:00 am
Saturday  classes 11:00 – 12:30 am

Salon Sessions n° 1

Come join us at the first Salon Session gig in the Drawing Room at St Margaret’s House!

We will be taking donations on the door (suggested donation of £5 for adults / free for kids). Donations from this edition will go towards putting on future gigs at the Drawing Room.

Drink, Make & Do

Each month two local creatives lead two arty activities in a relaxed evening workshop . Join us for cocktails, craft and conversation in studio G5, Edinburgh Palette on the last Saturday of the month. This June, welcome summer and create shell frames and printed beach bags.
