6 Week Dressmaking Class

This dress making class is ideal for someone who has intermediate dressmaking skills, you should be comfortable using a sewing machine and have made simple projects such as cushions or bags.

2 Week Beginner's Sewing - 5th April

2 week Introduction to Sewing: Wednesday 5th April & 12th April 6.30pm – 9pm.

This practical sewing course will help you become familiar with the basics of machine sewing and help you build your confidence using a domestic sewing machine before moving on to a simple sewing project after which you can graduate onto another intermediate course offered by Edinburgh Sewcial Club.

Whether your child is learning French at school, one of the parents is French or simply you want him/her to learn French, join us in this interactive workshop where we will go through the basics of conversational French.

The children will have the chance to test their capacities and learn new words and skills whilst being creative on stage (this class is also suitable if your child is a complete beginner). Drama games and improvisation exercises will be at the core of the class focusing on building up self-assurance in the first place, playing around with sounds, developing vocabulary and discovering French culture.

Yin Yoga - 4 Week Block

Join Panda Yoga on a four week block of classes starting on 5th April from 7.30-8.30pm. This class suitable for both beginners and those who have done yoga or yin yoga before.

Yin yoga is a slow style of yoga and works on the connective tissue, fascia, and deeper layers of muscles. It’s excellent for those who want to slowly stretch out and relax. Beneficial for those that train/participate in other sports and also for those who just need an hour of relaxing.

Mats, Bolsters, blocks and blankets are provided. Wear loose comfortable clothes. We hold positions for about five minutes so a light sweater or long sleeved top and socks may be useful.

£24 for a block of 4 classes or £7 drop in.
