Although no longer situated in Leith, The Leith Lapidary Club is a long established club providing facilities for it's members to partake in cutting and polishing gems and semi precious stones, jewellery making, small scale metal and silver work, and enamelling on metal. Our members range from absolute beginners through to skilled professionals internationally respected in their field.

We are a not for profit club offering bi-annual workshops run by member volunteers. These inexpensive workshops are open to the public and include beginner lapidary, beginner silver jewellery, silver sand-casting and beginner enamelling.

We welcome new members and interested visitors, just email us to arrange a suitable time for an informal no pressure tour of the facilities.

Club opening times are currently:

Mondays 13:30-16:30 and 19:30-21:45pm
Tuesdays 18:30-21:30pm
Wednesdays 10:30-13:30 and 19:30-21:45pm
Thursdays 13:30-16:30 and 19:30-21:45pm
Sundays once a month 13:30-16:30, and occasional Saturdays

- Other opening times and workshops may also be available by arrangement.
