News Crowdfunding the Pianodrome

This is #Pianodrome. It is one of the most exciting projects I have had the pleasure of taking part in to date and I am very fortunate to have a talented and passionate team of wonderful folk dreaming its wild possibilities with me. The chances of the very solid, sonic reality of our 100 seater amphitheatre made entirely out of junked pianos – five of which will still be playable and tuned – manifesting in the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh this August are looking good!

I am writing to ask for your support in our bid to fund the project by public donation. Contributions small and large are critical to the success of the project and will be most gratefully received. Go to crowdfunder.co.uk/pianodrome for pictures, stories, lovely gifts and the big red DONATE button that makes you feel good!

Sink will also be performing at the Patrick Geddes centre in the newly restored Riddles Court. Happening on Thursday the 22nd of March at 7pm with special guests Jemima and the Fuse. The performance will include both pre-written material and improvisation – with movement around the building – in direct response to Patrick Geddes’ three tenets of learning: Sympathy (heart), Synergy (hand) and Synthesis (head). You can buy tickets HERE.

Thank you to Edinburgh Palette for the years of inspiration that will lead to this euphoric exhalation!

In fond hopes that I will see you at the Pianodrome in the summer.

Best regards,
Tim Vincent-Smith
