Resident theatre company Discover 21 have released details of their latest Collider event. It comes after two successful previous events of its kind – now is your chance to make yourself noticed by a production company that is going from strength to strength. Collider #3 will be taking place in the new year.
You can find all the information you’ll ever need about Collider plus a wee bit more if you click here, but in brief, it’s a chance to meet people you might like to collaborate with in future.
Monday 5 January is Selection Night.
If you’re a writer, bring along copies of a short script or an extract. If you’re an actor, come along and volunteer to read things. If you’re a director, come and check out the writers and actors and see if there’s anything that speaks to you. At the end of the night we’ll have a vote to decide which scripts will feature at Collider (Performance Night will be Monday 2 February).
We’ll read as many scripts as we can on Selection Night, and we’ll read them in the order that they’re received so if you want to be sure that your script will get read, submit it quickly! Send it to jennifermcgregor@gmail.com
