Set to launch in 2018, the Centre for Community Resilience and the Arts will work in partnership with organisations, community groups, businesses and others who want to unlock the power of creative expression to help young people, families and communities thrive. Programmes and initiatives include community resilience activities and artist development programmes.
The Centre for Community Resilience and the Arts is a project of Bedrock Productions. At Bedrock, we co–design neighbourhood–based art ecosystems and reclaim spaces to unlock the power of creative expression to help young people, families and communities thrive.
The Centre’s purpose is to:
- strengthen the ability of artists to create and deliver experiences that build resilience in and with communities
- study the role of technology enabled artistic practice on resilience
- share practices, tools, lessons learned with creatives and creative hubs in the UK and internationally
Enabling under-served and under-represented communities to thrive through transitions.
Resilient and thriving communities
