Constantine is a self taught artist and author, originally from Athens, Greece. His first memory is that of drawing, which he carried on doing in his teen years, as well as exploring various others artistic and creative disciplines and routes such as music, which he still does to this day too.

Constantine first moved to Scotland as a young man, in order to study Geology. Throughout his University career though, he realized that Geology was really not for him and that life is simply too short to be wasted on things that have no appeal to us. He then made the decision to just follow his true calling, ignoring other peoples’ opinions and go after what HE wants in life.

Constantine has collaborated with many different artists’ from different artistic disciplines such as, visual artists, musicians and videographers/directors. He has provided his services for major Brands in the Alcohol and Hospitality industry, as well as developing and applying concepts in regards to interior design and “costume/uniform” design. Constantine has also experience in curating numerous exhibitions as well as co-curating 3 international art groups shows, and booking and organizing music concerts. His commissions include, tattoo designing, music vinyl covers and labels as well as numerous private commissions. He has exhibited numerous solo projects, worldwide, as well as participated in several group shows. Constantine is also the Author and Publisher of the Book Art “Jazz Mafia Project”.

Marcin is a visual artist from Poland specialising in figurative sculpture, painting and drawing. He started his art education at the age of 15 when he entered the Kenar Artistic High School, Zakopane. There he developed and mastered the techniques of woodcarving, casting, bronze and ceramics. In that period, the young artist took part in various residencies and workshops in Poland and abroad including France and Germany.

After completing his Diploma, Marcin went on to study Art and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He graduated in 2009 with a MA degree in Sculpture. In Gdansk, Marcin acquired the skills and the expertise needed to master human anatomy and drawing. He worked with a wide range of materials: stone, resins, faux stones, plaster and concrete. During the course of his studies the artist created multiple large-scale figures many of which were commissioned to be showcased internationally. Since moving to Scotland in 2012 Marcin has continued to expand his artistic repertoire. In Edinburgh he underwent a 6 months long course of drawing at The Academy of Realist Art.

From 2014 to the present day Marcin has run untutored life drawing classes at Leith School of Art where he also works as a tutor support on many courses including LSA Figure Course. He runs Figure Drawing workshops for various art organisations. Marcin is a co funder of a “Naked Aye Art Collective” and “NakEd Art Collective”. Both collectives gather figurative artists.

In his artwork Marcin shows great admiration to the human body, its shapes, colours and variety of forms.

Marcin said the following about his future plans: “My plans for this year is to do a photography course and learn new language, Spanish/Italian or both. I would also like to learn about growing organic food, practicing mindfulness and wellbeing. In the field of art I took up an online course in art history which I’ll be continuing through out the year. By the late spring I should finish a sculpture, self-portrait in plaster, for Scottish Portrait Award. Meanwhile I’m working on a big project for Edinburgh Palette to create a Sculpture Garden in Stanley Street. Moreover with our amazing EP team we are creating an outdoor space for theatres, performers and art exhibitions, which I am very excited about. Relatively soon  physical exhibition will be allowed. I would like to create a program for the EP galleries with a focus on art exploring themes of mental health, natural environment, social justice, local communities.

Regardless the horrifying and traumatic year in lockdowns and pandemic I look with an optimism and hope for rebirth of health and culture. Good things are coming.”
