Drawers Off Series 2

Drawers Off is BACK, the show where talented amateur artists get to show the world what they can do in a life drawing competition.

Presented by Jenny Eclair  – The celebratory, fun and encouraging show will once again showcase a broad range of amateur artists as they express themselves and improve their skills, at times using artistic techniques they may not have tried before. Each day they’ll all be aiming their easels at a different near-naked life-model.

Each week 5 artists will start with a blank canvas as they compete over 5 days to create 5 unique pieces. Each day they’ll score each other’s work, and the winner’s creation will be placed in the ‘Drawers Off’ winners gallery. At the end of the week the artist whose work is voted as the best by the group could win up to £1,000.

To apply, all you need to do is click the Etribez link or email the below address.

ClassBento

We have started the new year with a BANG and are receiving a huge demand for all kinds of  workshops at the moment. New Year = New Skills !

Your classes sound fantastic and we would love to work together to send you new students to fill gaps in classes + send private group bookings. It’s a great way to boost your bookings early on and set you up for a successful year! We already have 1 of the teachers based at St Margaret’s House on our platform and they are receiving great bookings and increasing their revenue.

You can check out our site www.classbento.co.uk

We normally only take 15% commission from the bookings. There are no hidden fees and we only make money when you do and you won’t pay a thing until you start to get bookings. There are no sign-on fees or contracts.

  •  Sign Up now and pay only 12.5% for January and February 2022

You choose your pricing, duration, capacities, etc to ensure the classes are financially viable for you.

We take care of everything for you in the backend – admin, transactional, and reminder emails, collate your reviews, etc.

You will have access to the backend system where you can contact students, rearrange classes, update your classes, and more.

We can build you a widget to integrate with your own website, this uses our backend system but we only take 3.9% commission from these bookings.

Our content team is happy to create the listings for you and we get back to you just to make sure you’re happy with how they look. All we need is some basic information about the classes and most of that will be attainable from your website.

We market your classes by paid-for advertisements on social media and search engines and we are also heavily featured in the media.

We will also be donating to Mental Health UK

Let me know if you are interested in hearing more about how we work.

Drop me an email at suz@classbento.co.uk or give me a call on 07583 116726

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Suz

Scottish Charity Award Featuring Tenants from 525 Ferry Road

Four tenants from our  525 Ferry Road building were recently shortlisted for the Scottish Charity Awards including People Know How, Scran Academy, Lead Scotland, and Edinburgh School Uniform Bank.

The building is home to many charities, small start-up organisations and social enterprises which thereby promotes a space where people can share space, interact, collaborate and exchange ideas. The environment in which we work, create, and operate in is a crucial part of success.  Edinburgh Palette’s ‘incubator hubs’ are vibrant, well cared for and fully inclusive.

You can read the news piece by People Know How here: https://peopleknowhow.org/news/four-525-ferry-road-tenants-shortlisted-for-scottish-charity-awards/

Congratulations to you all!

Lunch-time Pop-Up Event (External)

Would you be interested in doing a lunchtime pop-up event in a corporate building?
We’ve got a big lobby space where you could advertise your brand with some promotional materials like flyers etc. or even sell your product on the spot. All that with no cost.

We are based at Atria One, 144 Morrison Street Edinburgh.
Atria One is occupied by 17 large companies. On average we have around 200-400 employees coming in to work from the office each day.

Pop-ups take place in our lobby area.

It is entirely up to yourself how you want to use the space. You can have a banner, promotional materials, product you want to sell etc. From our side, we can provide a table or a few. However, if there is anything in particular you need, just let me know and we can see what are the options for organising it.

In the past, we had businesses like Hot Yoga, Massage and Glow, Candle and co, Wee bee company, Le Petit Cafe, Pure Gym and more.

In November we are planning to host pop-ups on the 17th and in December on the 8th. Let me know if that is suitable.

Ps. Just to remember… to be in the building you will need to have a valid licence or insurance so you are safe 🙂.
